The 2020 GMC Canyon is available in so many configurations that buyers will be hard-pressed to find one that doesn’t suit their needs and tastes. We give it 6 out of 10 here for its good infotainment.
Fleet buyers should opt for the Canyon SL, which features hose-down vinyl seats with power adjustability on the driver’s side as well as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. This trim only comes in extended-cab form, however, and rear-wheel-drive is the only setup.
Stepping up, the confusingly named base Canyon includes cloth upholstery and the option for four-wheel-drive and the V-6 engine, but it’s identical to the SL otherwise.
