BMW Motorrad has launched the all-new S 1000 XR in India at Rs 20.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new adventure-sport tourer (although we prefer calling it a sport-tourer only) replaces the first-generation S 1000 XR and has been built completely from the ground up. We are talking about a new engine, frame and bodywork along with a host of electronic equipment. BMW will only get the ‘Pro’ variant to India via the CBU route.
