Hyundai’s first compact SUV, the Venue, has completed a year on sale in India. Since its launch on May 21, 2019, the carmaker says that it has sold over 97,400 units of the Venue, with a further 7,400-plus units sold in international markets. This takes the cumulative sales of the compact SUV to over 1 lakh units.

The carmaker also said that with more than 24,400 units sold in the period between January and May, the Venue was the bestselling model in its segment in 2020.
