- Priced at a premium of Rs 50,000 over the base Rider trim
- Positioned between the base Rider and the mid-spec Ambition
Skoda has launched a new variant for the Rapid TSI, the Rider Plus. Priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new variant is positioned below the mid-spec Ambition and gets some additional features, paint and trim options over the Rapid Rider.
How is it different from the Rapid Rider?
Inside, the most notable distinction is the 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new Skoda touchscreen now comes with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink connectivity. Skoda says that the launch of the new Rider Plus variant stems from customer demand for a factory fitted touchscreen infotainment system on the base Rapid Rider, which is only offered with a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.
